RULES, REGULATIONS, & GENERAL INformATION
  • You MUST insert the required voting code on your site! This code will be provided to you when you join. Initially, the voting code will NOT be e-mailed to you! Therefore, it is important that you "cut and paste" your personal voting code directly from the Topsites List during the "sign-up" process! When visitors on your site click on this link it will count as a vote for your site.
  • You will have a choice of two (2) voting codes, a text link or a banner link (voting picture). Simply "cut and paste" the voting code and then IMMEDIATELY post the code on your site. Sites not adding the voting code will be DELETED from the list without notice.
  • I will need to approve your site first before it can be added to the list, which I will do as soon as possible. If you make any changes via the "Members Edit" page, it may take up to fifteen (15) minutes for your changes to show up.
  • Please DO NOT sign up for this list unless you intend on posting the required voting code. This is not a "free for all" links page.
  • Total number of hits (in and out) will be displayed. Rankings will be based on the total number of hits "IN". Hits "IN" are the hits that add up when a visitor on your site clicks your voting banner or text link to give you a vote and to visit the Topsites list. Hits "OUT" are the hits that add up when visitors already on the Topsites list click your personal banner to visit your site.
  • You can add your own banner by simply adding the url address of your banner where it says "Banner URL". For example; my own personal banner is located at http://people.consolidated.net/vmun/1w5www.gif
    Your banner must be in .gif or .jpg format and must be uploaded to your web-site server. The maximum banner width is 500, the maximum banner height is 200. There is no minimum banner size.

  • Most FREE webhosts (Geocities, Angelfire, Tripod, etc.) do not allow images or graphics to be remotely displayed on other sites (this typically results in a broken image).
  • This list will re-set (zero the count) once every thirty (30) days to give all sites a chance at reaching the top of the list.
  • This list is checked weekly for dead links. Sites with dead links will be deleted from the list without notice.
  • Only Ham (Amateur) Radio related sites will be accepted. I reserve the right to reject any site.
